Onix became one of my favourites in my 20's for some reason.
I like snakes and ground types but it sucks so much. Christ.
I like Steelix too but even with the mega, the whole team needs to cater to him to be viable at all.
Poor Onix, they gave it an evolution in Generation II and a Mega in Generation VI, and it still sucks.

Quite disappointed, it's something in between a worm and a draconic snake, Steelix definiyely would have gained something else over Aggron, especially a more accurate Iron Tail which is its signature attack basically.
