Stakeout clearly isn't as broken or as useful as Gale Wings Brave Bird/Roost. I think it has to have at least decent stats, hopefully speed.

Who fucking started this garbage? Retaliate is an awful move and Stake Out is a very situational ability.

Retaliate only gets boosted in power if your shit gets killed, which means you've let something die just so you can fire off one powered up attack. Literally worthless. Return or even fucking Double-Edge is going to give you comparable power without sacrificing something, and they're both actually STRONGER over the course of two turns or if you haven't lost any Pokemon.

That aside, Tough Jaw Hyper Fang hits 120 BP without factoring in STAB. That's 20 points weaker than a boosted Retaliate (either through switching or losing a mon) and it's consistent damage.

TL;DR: Stake Out looks good on paper but if you can't force switches (I don't see this thing being that big of a threat) it's a useless ability. Retaliation is a shitty gimmick, even as a joke.

As a side note, Strong Jaw Crunch is a more reliable way to handle the obvious Ghost switch in, assuming this thing doesn't get Knock Off (which it probably will)
