Does anyone know about the quality of the substitute plushies sold at the non-Japanese Pokemon Center website? I'm not sure if they are the same as the original Japanese plushies. PokeVault sells legit Japanese substitute plushies, but they're about twice the price of the Pokemon Center ones. I'd rather go with the cheaper option if there isn't a difference between the two. I know there was an issue with counterfeits a few years back when the plushies were really popular and had limited stock, so I'm wary about who to buy from.

buy it from the US based Pokemon Center, their plushes are literally Japanese Pokemon Center overstock

the current stock of plushes is 3 months behind the Japanese Pokemon Center, anything that doesn't sell is directed to the Pokemon Center in the US
