I've heard people speculating on the third legendary. I've come to tell you all there will only be Solgaleo and Lunaala as the main legendairy. Similar to Ho-oh and Lugia.

There's still not much of anything saying Marshadow is the third legendary, or a legendary in general. The only real reason people assume it as such is because "Mars" is in the name.
in the map there is a small Marsh area. maybe a ghost pokemon for a marsh? don't remember which island it was on one of the right side ones

personally i think it would be tied into sun and moon as hinted in e3. i think it will be like the delta episode and ties into the lore of the games
