No.
It will probably tell you the SE moves of the pokemon it's disguising as when you battle it.
I.e:
>Opponent sends out Zoroark
>It comes out disguised as a Machoke
>New mechanic tells you that Psychic is S.E. against it

It SHOULDN'T give Zoroark away, but this is Gamefreak we're talking about. I don't know if they have the foresight to actually make sure the new mechanic plays along with Illusion.

We know literally nothing about damage multiplier prediction outside of a single screenshot. It might consider abilities, it might not, we'll just have to wait and see.
For all we know, that feature might not even work the first time you see a pokémon of that species, and it's just a reminder of your trial and error.

Food for thought:
What if the new mechanic is their version of an "easy mode?" That way the babies don't have to think about their moves during the story line. Or maybe it's something that's can be toggled on and off in the options menu.
Also, perhaps the reveal of effectiveness cannot be used in PvP gameplay.

It's just a reminder that such and such moves are or aren't effective on a pokemon you need to have already marked as seen on your pokedex, less telling you what to use, more remembering what is effective.
Simulators like Showdown already have this function.
