Crystal is great you'll have a blast

The ascetic is insanely nostalgic for me so I'm bias but I love the comfey laid back feel of Johoto, the fact that there's no villain team trying to capture what ever God Pokemon and going back to Kanto is really interesting.
It has problems like the biggest level curve in any Pokemom game, lack of rematches with gym leaders and the Elite 4 always being in the 40's and awful pokemon distribution but play them once

im playing crystal, and its very relaxing. the music is beautiful, and the pokemon sprites are quite cute. i have a quilava called kasai and a sandshrew called suna so far. tho the only thing i dont like about it that it doesnt have mareep or running shoes lol
