I never understood how no one ever has a mon listed more than once on these. If your favourite Pokémon is dual-type then it automatically takes up two spots. It's not like it's by primary type either since people often use secondary typing for that particular type.
As it stands I have no idea what your favourite Pokémon of any one type is now. May as well just call it "A pokémon I like of this certain type"

No. My favorite dark type is Houndoom, but my favorite fire type is Blaziken. Dual typing doesn't fit in anywhere in the way you describe it.

I mean your overall favourite Pokémon. While it's easily possible to have a dual type Pokémon be your favourite in one type, but not another, if Houndoom was your absolutely favourite Pokémon, there's no way it couldn't' also be your favourite fire and dark type.

Yeah it could. For example, if your favorite mon was Azumarill, and you liked it more than any other Water type, but you felt that Togekiss did a better job of being a Fairy type or whatever and it was still up there. So Azumarill is your favorite mon and your favorite Water type, while Togekiss is your favorite Fairy type.
