They all clearly had some thought and time put into their composition.
All of them at least tried to convey some sense of threat or tension, unlike this trainer battle theme which uses two chords and the same melody twice until about 30 seconds, then afterwards tries to shoehorn in some tension with unnatural progression.
There's no buildup at the beginning of the theme either.
This was fucking disappointing after last gen's.
