The only Shiny I've ever caught on my own that wasn't scripted or part of some kind of giveaway was a Trapinch in a random replay of Emerald. Needless to say, I have this guy to this day.

This shiny makes me want to vomit. I'm not saying that I don't like it, I mean that it literally makes me feel physically ill when I look at it and I have no idea why. I released my shiny Politoed in Soul Silver because of that.
I can't even exaggerate how much I love this shiny.
It hits the nail on the head for me for everything I could ever want from a shiny pokemon.
