I'm trying to inject but I feel like I've bonded too much with my old team, and they'd feel replaced and hurt if I did do it, so I haven't made up my mind.
This is also the first time I have pokemon game on cartridge, and I feel as if I need to level up my favourite pokemon to level 100 before I'm allowed to inject at all.

Not Autistic Pokemon Opinions, but Autistic play through variation
I Autisticly think that the The Pokecenter simply puts bandages on scuffs/minor damage and refills your pokemon's energy. They generally are not suited for when a pokemon comes in with an arm ripped off.
When a pokemon in my party faints, I roll a D20:
20~12:Simply faints, nothing bad
11~8:Pokemon took serious damage, box in PC for 3 days while it rests
7~5:Pokemon is hurt to the point that it needs rehab, two weeks in the PC box until it can be pulled out.
4~2:Pokemon is crippled, they will never be able to battle again. Permanent Boxing. Can still be used for breeding and the like, but it will never be a fighter again.
1:Accidental Death in a fight, released.
Primarily done to slow down playthroughs so I don't just blaze though the game. Essentially Nuzlocke light with more stuff to do outside the game and no pokemon capture restriction.
In addition, in battles with Legendary Pokemon, I get one attempt to capture them, so no resetting, and the Legendary Pokemon in question is fighting to kill, so any fainting in my party results in an automatic death.

The first Pokemon game I ever played was platinum, but I was so unconfident in myself that I played through its entirety with an action replay. Instant level-ups, one-hit kills, infinite master balls. I'm waiting for the sinnoh remakes to go through it again, this time for real.

My party have to be the same level. Going through a gym or rival battle with lots of exp upsets me because one or two Pokemon usually end up getting all of it. The new Exp Share cured my autism.

It's not a virus. Its data was corrupted due to someone trying to alter the code to make it stronger.
Which did work, SpA got a huge boost and Speed got a smaller boost. While both defences got lowered. BUT now it glitches out and looks pretty damn unhappy.

The only critical catch that I was able to work with in game, happened the first time I used Dex Nav and the Poochyena had Thunder Fang.
I was going to transfer a Houndour over, but after this, just used the Poochyena, and honestly, he was the best member of my party. My only wish was that he had his hidden ability so that his evolved form could use Moxie, but eh, he killed Steven's Mega-Metagross, so he did just fine.
