I honestly don't understand half of Fairy's type matchups. It really just seems like raw balancing factor-based mechanical decision making, with almost no regard to actual fluff. Hell, it seems like they just lifted the egg group's name and decided "fuck it, Fairies can kill Dragons now, make most of that egg group at least part fairy"
