I've always had a love/hate relationship with bugs.

I absolutely hate bugs and spiders in real life (with an exception of moths and butterflies because they're harmless), but I actually really love a lot of Bug type Pokemon including the Joltik, Venipede, Weedle, Larvesta, and Scyther lines as well as Pinsir and Heracross. A lot of them are just pretty badass and it may just be the fact they're stylized like cartoons that makes them appealing to me and not afraid of them.

I mostly find bugs disgusting rather than scary.
This also happens to me with the Ghost Type. It's one of my favorite types (second only to Steel), but paranormal shit just freaks me out.
If I were a Pokémon, I'm sure I would be a Psychic Type. I'm somewhat smart (at least that's what my classmates used to say; notice I said somewhat), and I'm weak to Bug and Ghost.I'm not afraid of the dark, but used to be as a kid.
Bugs n birds are my shit, I love both, but I'm not too big of a fan of most of the bird Pokemon ingame for whatever reason.
I also want a hawkmoth pokemon.
