Based on the stats shown on yesterday's gameplay Popplio seems to be have a special focus, both in attack and defense. Judging by the battle royal Litten is the fastest of the bunch, and GF has a tendency of making Fire types the "speedy glass cannons".
Rowlett had the highest HP out of the three, I think someone said that the stat is the same as Tepig. That can only mean that its final evo will be either like Emboar, but with a truly garbage typing, or a defensive mon. I'm not saying it is absolute, but if it ends up like that we can only hope for a god tier moveset to save Rowlett.

I don't know if it's been released. But the art you posted is definitely not from the anime, it was shown during the XY prerelease period to demonstrate how new Pokemon are created.
As far as I'm aware, the anime doesn't have traditional concept art, like the Noivern or the "leaks." Maybe for anime specific characters, but even those more than likely just get reference sheets to keep the animators from going full retard.

The guy who traced them has drawn a lot of fakemon in the past, he has like 5 pages on DA of them.
I'm not sure exactly why he would start going "I know the truth but I ain't telling!", but it could either be out of jealousy of someone else making a more successful fake leak than him and that he wants to try his hardest to discredit it, or that he just wants to draw attention towards himself (which he succeeded with no matter if they are actually fake or not).

The anonymity of the original leaks is what gives them some sort of credibility I suppose, at least compared to the one guy stating that he knows they're fakeand he knows who created them but doesn't want to reveal who it was just cause. As soon as someone makes a statement without providing any facts to back it up, like the tracer did, said statement is usually considered bullshit. The leaks just came by one day, without anyone saying anything like "HEY GUYZ, LOOK WUT I JUST FOUND", and that's why they weren't disregarded as bullshit, because there was no one that claimed they were 100% true. Truth is, an image speaks more than words do.
