Well, in the official page Yungoos is said to have been introduced to deal with the overpopulation of a certain Pokemon, and the Treehouse dudes skipped over its dex entry, probably because the circles show not only its evo, but also the Pokemon that caused it to be brought into the Alola region. That and the description might outright state the name of the Pokemon, which will most likely be a rodent.

Pokemon has had many simple designs since the first games. One of my favorite things about pokemon is how simple so many designs are. I've never particularly liked the really busy designs like 100% perfectly ultimate great Zygarde complete. I don't hate them, but I much prefer the calm, simple designs.
