Why can't you see a gem/stone in the bracelet? I noticed it in the battle royal trailer thing, so I checked the other videos with it in sight, and they all were missing the gem/stone.
The official art makes it stand out, but the models don't? From what I recall, you can see the mega keystone on the bracelet on the full model
Maybe in that point in the game they hadn't gotten the gems yet? Though why do they have the wrist bands already?

I think you get it after the Festival and then the protector Pokemon each give you a gem. The first gem you get is yellow because you start off on Yellow Island.

That... Is actually a neat theory. And then at the end all the combined power of all the stones can act like a keystone and allows Pokemon to mega evolve.
