Face it, Woody will evolve into some kind of bird of prey, even though there's already Pigeot, Spearow, Noctowl, Skarmory, Staraptor, Braviary, Mandibuzz, Talonflame AND Rowlet. Well, maybe not exactly an eagle, but what stops it from evolving into, say, a bearded vulture? It's even a known fact that woodpeckers break smaller birds' skulls to get to their brains, and bearded vultures are known as "bone breakers" in Portuguese and some other languages too.
