I mean, I would be pretty okay with having these as the final stage design. They're not incredible, but they aren't too terrible either.
I'm especially digging the owl. I really like how it uses its wing as a bow to shoot a feather. It's pretty clever.
The seal/mermaid is pretty good too, but too gender-specific imo. Maybe it could get different forms depending on gender. That'd be interesting for a starter.
And the cat is just laughably bad. But I've come to expect at least one of these every gen.

Litten's raised back spikes when attacking translating to belt spikes on the evo
The 'hood string' vine for Rowlet evo's leaf hood is used as a bowstring when held taut by the pokemon
The angle design consistency shown in the art sheets fr helping artists understand them from multiple angles and in different action poses.
Popplio becoming the singer mermaid siren that comes out f the clam shell in acts, + that disarming vice attack art tease right in the concept page. And the bubble 'hair bands' exploding off in a perfrmance.
I hate to say it, because I wanted something different from Litten and Popplio (no not other leaks, just different), but these are extremely convincing.

Assuming they do with the typings of these starters as they did with Gen 6, if Popplio is Water/Fairy, Litten will be Fire/Dark, which leaves Rowlett to be Grass/Steel or Grass/Poison to complete the double triangle.
This would suggest that the image in OP's pic is full of nothing but fakes.
