Shut up OP, you know Dex Rotom isn't a box-obtainable Pokémon. It's just a feature that'll be removed and forgotten as soon as the next games come out. You'll never be able to actually battle with or keep it in your bank, let alone catch it in its shiny form. They likely won't even program a shiny form into the game.

I have ham hands. I walk about an hour a day to work, and about an hour back. I shiny hunt while I watch tv or walk. It doesn't take much effort or attention really.
I'm very happy with how I spend my time, If I wasn't happy with the feeling of accomplishment I receive then I wouldn't do something like this. It's not for you, it's for me. I'm glad some people can appreciate this!

I've wanted shiny rotom for years. Most shiny hunts take me a couple hours at most. This hunt took roughly 24 to 30 hours out of a week where I didn't have any money anyway. I paid bills as soon as I got paid, and paid for a public urination ticket I got the week before on a night I was out drinking, I'm out every weekend just about and lately I'm realizing that sometimes it's nice to just stay in, and do something that doesn't really cost anything. I can easily go out and waste a few hundred dollars on a night in the city I live in but after years of doing shit like that it gets boring expensive and mundane... No, Im not a virgin, I've had more partners than I can count on my hands and toes twice, a couple long term relationships that were going no where, one because I moved and the second because she graduated with her doctorates and I wouldn't move in with her even though there was no way I could pay my share for a downtown condo that her rich ass daddy paid her share for. Also, I play a ton of other games. Just because someone enjoys a hobby doesn't mean they've devoted their entire life to it. It feels good to be able to share with people with similar interests. Trolling is pretty funny though I guess
