The same thing happened with Swampert when ORAS was remade, someone please explain this to me.

What? Feraligatr was the only one of the Johto starters to benefit from the Phys/Special split.
Hell, with just level up moves you can deal a hunk of damage if not obliterate everything in your path: Aqua Tail, Superpower, Crunch, Ice Fang, also Agility if you want to use it in the frontier.

None of the Johto starters are relevant right now because they don't have Megasalthough they could get them in SuMo. Also, you forgot that Feraligatr is the best of the three competitively, and it actually had significant screentime in the Genesect movie. I'd say you guys don't have it too bad.

I've heard that Feraligatr at this point is (objectively) a worse Gyarados and the Genesect movie is said to be the worst movie overall.
As much as I'd hate to be a pessimist, isn't that the case?

Gatr has sheer force plus life orb as well as STAB priority, Gyara only wishes it had these
