Megas are mostly confined to gen 6, we might get one or two but probably not a whole wash of them just like Gen 3 didnt dump a million baby mons or trade-hold-item Evos, gen 2 didnt have dozens of Stone evolutions that weren't Sunstone, gen 5 didnt have cross-gen evos (though, it didnt have cross-gen ANYTHING, but gen 6 didnt have cross gen natural evolutions either)
