I was just thinking. It might be specifically for Pokémon "you have known since the beginning of your adventure" or whatever, where you have to log some time with them or their OT has to be yours. That means all starters and any gift mons you might getx like some people think Iwanko will be ("these four Pokémon hold a secret.")
I don't like Synchro very much desu, but I won't hate it.
It will probably be like Pokken where the Pokemon gains stats and just has a glow
