It doesn't have better models, it just gave a bit more life to the Pokemon. In Stadium, each Pokemon had a unique idle animation while in Gen VI, they just stand there.

They have unique ones in Gen VI too. The game just only shows them at certain camera angles when you're selecting a move. Though generally the animations from through PBR are more lively.
Regardless I've seen people say Stadium has better models, not animations, and that's what's insane.

Here's a tip, actually play the games instead of watching gifs of the models.
Every Pokemon has a unique animation while idling for example Weavile checking it's claws.
