Literally ruined the whole thing, it took me ages to stop muting my 3DS whenever it came on.
XY's gym leader theme was also pretty bad. It's weird, XY had stellar route music, but the battle themes are the worst in the series.

For once, FOR FUCKING ONCE GameFreak manages to squeeze out a piece of music that does not sound like boring "mostly major after opening in minor, repeat the same progression ad infinitum" shit-tier uninspired pop garbage and actually throws you a decent curve-ball by adding together all the themes into something that almost resembles a composition with weight to it, brains over brawns shit, no-trance-allowed shit, pay-attention shit,
