>someone actually saved this replay
>someone actually thought it would be worth sharing
Replay threads on /vp/ are always a joke.
Things that can make good replays:
>Someone sperging out/maximum autism
>Funny or interesting chat
>A gimmicky or underused set or pokemon being used successfullyshuckle, FEAR and other meme sets and mons do not count
>An unlikely come-from-behind win
>Both players are actually competent or at least have above a 1400 rating for OU or 1300 for UU or below
>A battle that takes place in a real ladder (i.e. anything that isn't randbats or anything goes)
Just because your opponent gave up doesn't mean he rage-quitted and you should be feeling yourself for that win. It means he saw he couldn't win and cut his losses and moved on.
>>26714232
You are right about the quits but everything else you said is garbage.
>>26714433
Everything he said was right. But there is one more "good" replay. If it has meme value.

Round 13
>>26714458
No, it's not.
>a gimmicky set is OK
>but not this gimmicky set
>>26714501
/vp/ thinking shuckle is good is just as annoying as smogonfags using generic stall teams with chansey and mega sableye
fear is no longer novel and isn't really interesting since there is one and only one way to play it
Here's some fun with underseen mons.
vs. HO: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-363370541

I'm sure this'll change your mind.
So lucky fuck this guy

>>26714120
what the fuck
>>26714558
How is that luck? why the fuck would you even go for the roost at the end?

u can skip until turn 60 aprox
>>26714558
You asked for it, if you're the Mega Charizard X guy. You could've just finished the game but you had to keep healing over and over as though you were showboating.
>>26714232
Tfw got 1400+ rating with ease.

Only so much autism one can take at once.
>>26714545
Nice, those were actually high rank matches, I'm surprised. Cool team definitely, although I don't see Skutank doing much there.By the way, watching that stall match made me 110% mad. It's just attempting to make your opponent rage quit by spamming Recover and switching between your defensive Mons. Who enjoys playing like that?
>>26714545
>http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-363370541
That hidden power are you running on Thundurus there?
>>26714120
>I still see a perfectly healthy Arcanine on the field of play.
>>26714818
Skuntank was my Defogger and Pursuit trapper, so I knew it wouldn't do much against the stall team. It's meant to end Gengar and as you saw in the HO game, deal with Lati, among other mons weak to it.
>>26714820
Ice
Thundurus is like a Mega Manectric without a Mega stone, since you can T-Bolt, Incinerate, and HP Ice for all that coverage, with a filler 4th move. I used Therian because it's strong enough to actually OHKO things, unlike Incarnate.
>>26714902
>Incinerate Thundurus-T
w-what
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/pu-385331150
A battle I spectated that I had to save.
>>26714978
It's to hit Ferro and Scizor. Usually guarantees a kill after Rocks on standard Ferro and bulky M-Scizor. Thund is used as a balance breaker since few things want to take 2 hits from it.
Old, but gold

Tru. I'm literally a noob and I got that high this afternoon with a team comprised entirely of Smogons A+ tier in the viability ranking.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-385638549
Trying out a new mono-normal team - Zangoose for the win!
>>26714978
>>26714902
Holy shit, they buffed Incinerate to 60 BP this gen. It's literally HP Fire now, how did I never notice that.
>>26715906
kill urself
>>26715894
>>26715830
I would rather see a 1400 rating battle than the 1000 rating battles people post consistently in these threads desu
also it's not like anyone on /vp/ is even good enough to hit 1400
>>26716623
For every interesting high level replay there are twenty of these
>>26715800

true but more to the point I'm addressing

maybe reddit should make a sub on how to not be such an obvious newfag
