Nevermind I just looked up this guy has no stab at all in gen 2. Shame if like to have been able to use it.

USE IT ANYWAYS. The good thing about Gen 3 and Gen 2 Ledian is that it learns all the elemental punches and it can actually use them despite the absence of the physical special split. It's special stat is much higher than it's attack stat. It was only made worse when the Phys/Spec split was put in place.

Anything is usable in gen 2.
Level it up for the defense moves and teach it Thunder and Ice Punch in Goldenrod City.

Why are you asking for in-game moveset advice? Just enjoy the damn playthrough!

It can't learn Fire Punch though.
I'd know because I used one on a Crystal playthrough and had a good time.

There's a Pokemon Crystal romhack where Ledian is Bug/Psychic and learns Confusion/Psychic, and can also learn Fire Punch.
