I'm usually really open and accepting to new designs, and I try to find a reason to like them, be it for lore reasons, etc., but I absolutely hated this design when I first saw it. Sucks, too, because I see so much untapped potential in this design. Granted, after seeing its in-game sprite and what little I've seen of it in the anime, it has started growing on me. A few tweaks and it'd be okay in my book, but as it is now, it just looks like a Lego nightmare.

I used to dislike Golurk and Zekrom's design for how non-Pokemon they looked.
Then the same happened for Hoopa-Unbound
Then they grew onto me. I love Ghost Golen and dragon and Hoopa Ganon, Zygarde complete form is pretty cool too.Also gen 4 started all the weird designs with the cross gen evolution
