Gasp! I just thought of this insane idea! What if there are other aspects to the sun besides the fact that it's hot, such as the lore surrounding it?! Aside from the alchemy stuff, Solgaleo--more specifically, its name--could also be referencing Galileo Galilei who is said to have studied the sun and heliocentrism extensively. It could be said that Galileo was obsessed with the sun, or has been touted as a sort of representation of all things "sun" just like Solgaleo. And aw man, it'd be insane if Solgaleo got an alternate forme with after having "eaten the sun" and gained similarities to it just like the alchemy bits of its theme, thereby pleasing and shutting up firefags for good. :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
