Ohmura has more of a rounded style
Sugimori's style is sharper more straighter probably to suit sprite limitations from gb to ds
Personally i like sugi but his colors are noticablly dull and his shading is light compared ohmara.

Ohmura is far better than curren Sugi, even if I dislike a lot of the former's character art.

I always felt like the dull colors and light shading was pretty charming. It's one of those things that kind of make the game's art direction a little different from the standard DS kid's games on my opinion
