What is the Rock Pokemon Master's opinion of the newest addition to his family?
>>26696342
Furbait. Man, so much furbait this generation
i think it's cute. hopefully it won't be shit and i'm hoping to implement it on my perma team
>>26696724
>anything mammalian is automatically furbait
>>26696724
>A regular dog is furbait
>mammalian rock type
why arent people more grateful? this isnt a particularly common combination
>>26696877
it's people that let themselves think rock types must only look like they're forged out of mountain sides, even though almost every other typing has an animal like this.
>>26696992
I wish we got more pokemon that looked like they were actually cleaved off a mountain side. All we really have is Carbink and maybe Diancie.
>>26697907
>forgetting about the Boldore
>>26696992
Usually those guys have some attribute relating back to the source typing (ITT Vaporeon's fin tail)
I honestly don't see the rock aspect of this guy.
So what I think is this guy was originally going to be Rock/Normal but then realized that would be a terrible typing that they should never do and made it pure rock.
>>26696851
Well furries are going to slip more and more Into their attraction of animals. Soon literally anything that looks like my moms pet Will become furbait
>>26696724
It doesn't need to be furry to be sexualized. Welcome to the Pokemon fandom.
>>26697940
I assumed the dark spots on the collar are rocks.
>>26696877
>>26696992
It looks like more of a regular animal than a lot of the half-normies like Jigglypuff and Pyroar, so it just seems inconsistent.
>>26696992
It has the same design philosophy as Deerling, Helioptile, and Litleo: elemental body part (or symbiote in the case of Deerling), but the rest is a fairly mundane animal (by Pokemon standards). It really does scream half Normal.
>>26698693
I'm glad it's not tho, I'm fine with the loss of Normal stab in exchange for not having a 4x weakness.
>>26696877
This.
>>26696342
Potentially opening the door to a Rock typed eeveelution
>>26696724
How did you know?
Could we finally be getting an early game rock type that isn't a slow piece of shit that evolves through trading?
I'm ROCK hard.
>>26696342
Whats the deal with it getting different poses in the magazine as oppossed to Nekkoala's one?
I for one welcome our new puppy overlords.
>>26701223
It's supposed to be special along with the starters so it makes sense in a way.
>>26701223
dog is cuter
I like the dog more than any of the starters, I'm happy to finally get a cute rock type instead of a literal pet rock.
>>26697907
You forgot about 100 other Rock-type Pokemon.
>>26701401
I wonder what it is?
>>26701462
They're the first Pokemon you can canonically mate with.
>>26701440
>100 other Rock-type Pokemon.
Many rock types don't actually feature rocks or stones in their designs, but hard armors or shells instead. He definitely undersold the amount of rock types that look like they fell off a mountainside though.
Geodude line, Onix, Nosepass, and the Roggenrola line are all just straight up sentient rocks.
>>26701487
Nah It''ll be something like those are all pokemon that can be given to you in the starter town or something
>>26700610
but not having a ghost immunity
>>26701572
Oh no, it lost an immunity to a type you'll encounter half as much as fighting.
>>26701492
And Re-e-e-egirock.
>>26701401
I thought it was Corocoro priding themselves that it was their exclusive pokémon
>>26696877
Agreed. I always do a rock monotype playthrough so I'm pumped to see an early route rock pokemon that isn't a geodude or roggenrola.
