He's right though. Increase in the amount of Pokemon (forms not counted) has so far been probably the ONLY consistent identifier of a new generation. Sun and Moon will probably be a continuation of the Generation 6 story like Gen 2 was with 1, and they'll probably be complete shit for that matter, but however you spin it, they're generation 7.
