It's ancient greek: "Giga" - Big, "Reki" - Penis

I don't know any Japanese, so I can't say. However, what if Marshadow and Gigareki are another duo of legends that interrelate to Solgaleo and Lunala? What if the next games after Sun and Moon are Sun and Moon 2 and we get Gigareki and Marshadow as our cover legends?
I mean, we've never had a generation with just two games. Even Gen 6 had a second set of games, albeit remakes. It's almost a fact we aren't getting remakes of Sinnoh this gen, so the only thing I can see happening is another sequel game.

"reki" is a reading of the kanji 暦, meaning calendar/almanac. It could be the name of a Poketch-type thing or a part of the RotomDex (if that has more functionality that we don't know about).

Nigga it didn't have a actual pokemon trademark, it was a mechanic trademark or something. So odds are it's the japanese name of whatever that diamond thing on them MCs wrists

I am a native japanese that lives in the city of Shangai and I can confirm that Giga means Big or really Big and Reki means Bracelet.
