They're unedited RBY ROMs (besides maybe Yellow allowing Surfing Pikachu without Surf; Jynx's color palette was confirmed an emulator function and not a ROM edit). Unless they gave the Mew very specific IVs to make it a 1/1000000 chance to get a tradeable Mew from the Mew glitch, there'd be no way to tell.
I'm sure there's some way to use item 8F to edit IVs too, if that's the case.
