Not him, but I'm in the same boat as the Anon who doesn't know about Zinna. Objectively, the remakes appear great; they are a modern upgrade of Ruby and Sapphire for sure.
But there's only so much you can do with Ruby and Sapphire. Once the hyped nostalgia fades, you realize Hoenn was never very interesting to begin with. I lost interest around 6 or 7 badges in, and have had to force myself to attempt getting through the Team Magma/Groudon's story arc. As a result, I forgot mega's for Slowbro, Steelix, Glalie, ect., even existed.
Now if I had Emerald's Battle Frontier to look forward to at the end, that would have been enough incentive for me personally to continue.
