I'm saying that this artist has nothing to lose by claiming credit for Ballio and friends and advertising their actual body of work, especially since the designs are so popular.
I would assume since they also draw fan art they have more of a tumblr/da presence than anything, since a lot of fan artists post their art there instead of more professional showcase-oriented sites like Artstation.
