Here is a little challenge:
Search in your preferred Pokémon database for your irl name.
If you share your name with an in-game trainer, build a team that fits their trainer class. You have to use at least 1 Pokémon from the same family of each of the original trainer's Pokémon (meaning that, if you share your name with the fisherman with 6 magikarp, you only have to use 1 magikarp/gyarados; the rest can be other fish Pokémon). If you share your name with 2 or more trainers, try to build a team that fits them all. Replays are appreciated.

Turns out I share a name with an Ace Trainer from Gold and Silver---and HG/SS by extension--- who use Sandslash and Ampharos respectively.

When I think of NPC trainers with my name, the only one that comes to mind is an Artist on Sinnoh route 208, who uses a Mime Jr. and Bonsly.
I suppose as an artist, I'd also get to use Smeargle, which is pretty sweet.
However, when I search my name on Bulbapedia, it redirects to Super Nerd, apparently due to a named manga character.
So I think I'd have a team along the lines of

Mr. Mime
Sudowoodo
Electrode
Golem
Magnezone
I'd probably trade out Sudowoodo for Muk or Cloyster but for the most part, all Pokemon I'd be happy to use.
I just wish Dark Void didn't exist, because I really used to like Smeargle. I used one in Silver and named it after my dog, and I really liked it in the Pichu Bros short.
I've been playing Pokemon for so long that I don't think any Trainers share my name except a base default option for the male character in RSE

I wanted to use mostly Kalos Pokémon.
Looks like I share names with a Psychic in HG/SS, a Hiker in Emerald and a Twin trainer in FR/LG. Looks like my team would be something along the lines of:

Gengar
Threw Gengar in there since he's my fave and makes sense for a Psychic trainer.
