Do you ever use NFE pokemon in your story runs? Like, not "I ran out of time" but you purposely prevented evolution?

I purposely didn't evolve my Chikorita in a soul silver run, because I knew it wouldn't get much better, so at least it could be cute.
In AS, I had the means to evolve my Rhydon, but didn't in favor of Eviolite. Not sure if that counts.

I did it twice for Jigglypuff. Once it was on a team with fully evolved Pokemon (in Red), and the other it was on a team of mostly NFE Fairy types (they were all small but not necessarily NFE: Marill, Jigglypuff, Cottonnee, Flabebe, Carbink, and Dedenne).
Its all i ever do...current W2 run team: oshawott, growlithe, magnemite, timburr, zubat
First playthrough of X I used a Floette, just because I really liked the way it looked and really didn't like the way Florges looked.
