You do understand that the Keystone doesn't NEED to look exactly the same in every region right? This can easily be a redesign of the Keystone and nothing more. Or hell it can just as easily be relevant to the Solgaleo and Lunala in some way similar to how the Red and Blue Orbs were in RSE/HGSS/ORAS, they don't NEED to be related to a brand new mechanic.
Also I just have one question for you and others that think Synchronization will be a thing, what the hell would the purpose of it be? In the anime (where the idea actually comes from) Ash Greninja isn't anything too special and "synchronization" is just Ash and Greninja being in synch with their thoughts, feelings, and movements, Ash even feeling the same pain that Greninja does when attacked. Now I ask you, what could that POSSIBLY translate to in terms of the games? We'll still be picking the moves of our Pokemon, nothing will be different at all.
