Has a non-legendary won any of these events? I know most people vote for legends simply because they want a distibution of hard to obtain pokemon, but if this list is anything to go by, many people do vote for their favorite much to the despair of legendaryfags.
I'm surprised Greninja seems to be on top considering this is the biggest Favorite Pokemon poll Japan has ever had.

Not the website, but the vote-through-your-tv system. The interim results were published shortly after the first time you could vote through your TV, so chances are those Pokemon didn't get as many votes later weeks after people had figured out how the system worked.

It should be mentioned that the "this Pokemon will get an event" detail was never advertised too hard, so many voters probably didn't even know. They were also pushing it towards normalfags much more than the earlier polls did.
