I would traditionaly go for the Gatr but for later runs I like to do something different. So I'd probably go for Meganium.
Would reset until female with non-garbage nature. Would probably also trade it to another gen 4 game that's at post-game to maybe get it Screens, Light Clay and some other moves that might be good on it.
Johto is the only time where boxing your starter is okay.
