The franchise isn't just gonna "end" one day, unless it's suddenly not popular anymore. The real question is, how many Pokemon will be before you die?

I hated the fact we got less than 100 new mons in XY as much as the next fan, but I feel like it wasn't just because of having to model all the old ones. I think they'll slow down the amount of new Pokémon in each generation now, to make it last longer.

Gamefreak doesn't just have some set number they'll stop at, they'll stop when the franchise is no longer profitable, which isn't gonna happen anytime soon
