They're doing it via tourist destinations at the moment and following the Gen 1-4 pattern again by climate so it will be somewhere that gets snow and has mountains that is popular with Japanese tourists.
Wales would be most likely, if not a UK general region with Wales, England and Scotland.

Yeah, but it's pretty much Asia-Pacific geographically, much like Hawaii. It's fairly different both in its indigenous culture, and the fact that it was colonised by Anglos, but I I don't think they'll have two Asian-Pacific regions in a row regardless.

It still isn't quite destroyed. Ancient Egyptians' direct descendants, the Copts, have managed to survive and make up a surprisingly high % of the country's population. I'd also say that Egyptian nationalism somewhat grounds the effect Arabs had on the region. You don't see Muslim Egyptians destroying pyramids and sights, like what's happening in Iraq and Syria.
Still, the country needs to become secular before it can exit its current state of affairs. It's painful to admit, but even Turkey is in a better state right now religiously.

However, I really doubt it at this point. We just had Europe, and now we're getting a "warm" region. Greece is both of those, so I really doubt it's the next one.

I think the combination of highly mountainous and peninsular with lots of small islands makes it unique and a good candidate (although it does make it a little similar to Hoenn)
As for we just had Europe, after Sinnoh all regions have been based on western regions so it wouldn't be far fetched at all. Plus it would still follow a logical sequence:

Usually we have decently frosty winters, lush springs, hot and stormy summers, then beautiful autumns, with tons of brassy leaves falling graciously down, as folks go through orchards harvesting late apples and pears, collecting all kinds of mushrooms in forests, preparing last brews of mead to ferment and settle before bees start producing new batches of honey.
If not for the retards that 250 years of cumulative occupation bred and raised, Poland would be comfiest of comfy European countries.
