It will in fact be shit. Popplio is the most anticipated evo because we want to see how badly it will turn out.
The owl gets a free pass. It is almost impossible to mess up his last evo. owls always look cool and menacing.
The Cat can be hit or miss. It all depends if they keep it on all fours, which would be a good thing, or make it walk on two legs, which would ruin it.
