Both their typings are shit. Solgaleo is literally Metagross 2.0, Lunnala needs to be in full heath to not get raped by Pursuit.
I'll go with Lunnala anyway, as it would probably function like a special Dragonite and would have a free chance to tear assholes.
I wouldn't be surprised if Lunala was OU instead of Uber. Those 2 double weaknesses.

Lunaala is Hoopa 2.0, another pokemon that was absolutely reamed by its typing. Remember that time Hoopa went to RU despite 150 base SpA and a signature move that breaks Protect?

If only it could be Dark/Ghost, Ghost/Fairy or even Psychic/Fairy.
Psychic is totally useless for Ghosts. It adds no useful resistances (because Psychic isn't used that frequently and resistance to Fighting is pointless when Ghost has an immunity) while at the same time giving it a 4x weakness to Ghost, Dark and removing Ghost's resistance to Bug.
What were they thinking. Lunala needs 24/7 Stealth Rock removal support to stop it from getting raped by Pursuit, Dark Pulse, Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Shadow Ball and Shadow Sneak, depending on what tier and speed tier in winds up going into.

To be fair, Hoopa Confined has other problems besides its two glaring weaknesses. It's too slow and has poor physical bulk, which makes its colossal special attack a waste against fast or hard hitting opponents.
Lunala already has the defensive ability in Multiscale, and given how box legend stats work, it will definitely have much more physical bulk and speed than Hoopa. And it will probably have a good STAB/Coverage moveset with Psyshock (Psychic), Moongeist Beam (Ghost), Moonblast (Fairy), and something else.
Lunala ghost type = Will-O-Wisp
