How do you use slow but strong pokemon without getting ass blasted?

Depends on how slow. Not that slow is Tailwind, slow is baton passing or using agility/rock polish and "why does it even have a speed stat" is trick room

You use momentum (Volt Switch, U-Turn, Baton Pass) to get them in on Pokemon that can't threaten them.
For example,
>Your Pangoro vs. Opp's Clefable
>You switch to Scizor on Moonblast
>You U-Turn on their switch to Heatran
>Go into Pangoro
Now it's inside and you have at least one free shot, and they likely have no switch-in.

>Next turn, Gunk Shot should be able to kill Clefable after the Knock Off damage
or
