Egg groups don't signify romantic possibilities, only whether or not offspring is possible. There is nothing stopping a Mawile and a Kabutops from falling in love, they just can't make babies.

We make rules because if we don't people are going to abuse the lack of rules. Does that mean we have to be strict? No, of course not. Players won't have fun if they don't have freedom, thus it's important for mods to be loose. But having core guidelines is still important.

It and PTA are the only options you have to my knowledge. I just use PTU since my GM was familiar with it and it was what I played, I guess you could use PTA if you felt that was better.
