Mega Gothitelle and Mega Beheeyem. They're both designs that I really like, but they're just so fucking useless. Aside from just being yet another group of pure psychic types, neither have the stats to back up their poor movesets when much better alternatives exist.
Liligant should get a mega too, mainly to make up for how much better Whimsicott is. It too suffers from the "generic pokemon of its typing without any niche/good stats" effect.
Froslass should definitely get a mega, since its only real use is being very obvious destiny bond bait. There's no reason to have a froslass with Mega Glalie, just like there was no reason to have a Gallade when Mega Gardevoir existed.
Although, I guess, in the end, I'll be happy with pretty much any megas, as long as they're interesting and have potential to shake things up, rather than "it's [insert pokemon here] but with higher stats" (I'm looking at you, Mega Audino).

I think they would be shooting themselves in the foot if they did it. People who don't necessarily know anything about pokemon still know who Pikachu is. They aren't going to recognise a mega form if it starts getting slapped on everything pokemon related. They'd lose a some brand recognition if they started pushing mega pika. It would do much better with Multiscale imo. Whatever way you slice it considering typing changes after going Mega it will probably still have a very exploitable 4x weakness (Fighting/Dark, Fighting/Dragon, Dark/Dragon).

If M-Golem keeps the shell intact, I've always loved this design, especially if it could get Heat Crash by Move Tutor or Egg Move or something. It's not like there isn't already a precedent of Pokemon learning
Rock/Fire would be the best best, and the ultimate icing on the cake would be some kind of ability that neutralizes Water-type moves as if its body is so hot that water vaporizes into steam when it touches it.
