I'm on my 3rd playthrough and this has been the first time I actually went out of my way to visit this place.
Im scared to go inside
I hear Red's team is quite the challenge plus this is supposedly the biggest dungeon in the game

I always go everywhere in a Pokemon game. The first time I broke that rule was not checking the ocean in ORAS completely because I fucking hated that shit.
Mount Mortar is the real deal though. Maze-like is an understatement.

I always skipped it on my first playthrough of Silver and SoulSilver. But recently I've been exploring every corner of SoulSilver to collect all the hidden items and I went into the cave and explored everything

Most Johto caves had little to no annoying trainers inside and felt awesome because of it.
It's pretty good to explore, can't remember what else it had inside beyond the Karate King and a TM for defensive curl in GSC
