Does anyone know what this translates into?
>>26575452
Top is "Alola dex" with 1 caught and 3 seen
Bottom is "Mele Mele dex" with the same.
There are 5 pokedexes.
>Alola region
>Meremera reigon
>>26575476
So does this mean like the same thing from X and Y with the 3 side Pokedex slots?
>>26575476
4 islands, 4 'dexes, plus one National 'dex.
Dude, these islands might be fucking huge.
>>26575452
Doesn't Alola have only 4 islands?
What is the 5th option then?
>>26575476
>>There are 5 pokedexes.
4 for each island, and 1 for old gen Pokemon?
It all fucking makes sense now
So it will be the region and 4 categories for the 4 islands? What is the yellow tab?
>>26575452
Also notice how it says 1% with only 3 pokemon. Meaning the region dex if like kalos, has atleast 300 pokemon in total.
>>26575544
Google translate says picture book evaluation.
>>26575547
>at least 300 Pokémon in total for regional dex
>>26575532
national likely
>>26575563
picture book = pokedex for you uneducated gaijins
>>26575547
I hope so, but it might round up. Even in that case, there are still a lot of new pokes
>>26575595
Err round down
>>26575478
The state is called Hawaii but it's also the name of a specific island. Pretty sure that's the case here. Are we sure "Meremere" is the name of something not like, an adjective or something though? It sounds like a Japanese adjective or descriptor or something. It hasn't otherwise been pointed out by anything, right?
>>26575452
>More than one regional dex
the first option is the normal pokedex mode.
>>26575650
Why? At the very worst it's harmless to the game
>>26575537
I'm pretty sure the fifth is just all the regional dexes put together
>>26575452
Holy fuck
The rainbow next to Rotom has the same colors building up on this list. Red, orange, yellow, and blue. But that only makes up 4, so does that confirm the 5th slot to be like what these anons said? >>26575531 >>26575537 >>26575578
>>26575574
Emm,anon.
do you know that 3 is the 1,(?)% of 250?
there's no way to know the numer.
>>26575795
oh...
The first option is "Alola Dex", which would be the entire regional Pokédex. It is then broken down into sub-sections for each island. Since the sub-section containing the starters is "Melemele Dex" then the starting island is most likely "Melemele Island". Mele is Hawaiian for "song/chant/poem", so it'd roughly be something like "Singsong Island".
>>26575783
>>26575452
>Top is Alola Dex
>fair to assume the subsections are each island
>removing starters and legendaries this could mean 100+ species per island
>if you count all Pokemon (assuming Gen 7 gives us 79 minimum) this could reach 200
>anniversary of the series, would make sense to add as many Pokemon as possible to celebrate
>so large that it warranted splitting the dex in 4
That's a big game.For us
>>26575837
>"Melemele Island". Mele is Hawaiian for "song/chant/poem", so it'd roughly be something like "Singsong Island".
It physically hurts me that won't be the localization because it's perfect
>perform a deep, thorough analysis to get even more extensive info on mons
>>26575837
Thats a cute name for a island,
>>26575795
> 3 is 1% of 250
wat are you on about 1% of 250 is 2.5?
1% of 300 is 3.
>>26576223
It'll probably just be Melemele Island
>>26576243
its 1.x amount you dip not flat 1%
>>26576309
and how the fuck would you know whats what. if hes seen 3 pokemon each the starter and it states to be at 1% it can as well be 300 pokemon for the regional dex.
