How the fuck would someone abuse that? You can only get it's area, you could search that on the internet.

It will only be marked as "seen", probably to make it easier for kids to search for specific Pokemon on GTS
It'll obviously just give you a "seen" version of it, not a full entry as if you caught it.
OP here. Let me explain; you could still get the regional dex completed with all of them as seen. Look at ORAS... or I'm wrong and should go eat some cyanide tablets.
