So, what are the possibilities with this dual type move?
Fire/Steel?

Who says it's dual type?
>>26573136
If Steel/Fire
Walled by fire types, walled by water types.
Murders grass, fairy and bug
It's not dual typing.
Official website says that the effect of both signature moves is to ignore the enemy's ability
>>26573151
It did neutral damage to Salamence
>>26573337
And your point is? For all we know, it's likely just Steel.
>>26573337
So it's Steel type
>>26573337
If it was dual type it would've been NVE.
>>26573136
It's not dual type, it's just Steel.
The Japanese name is Meteor Drive, and the description for it and Moongeist Beam say that they ignore the opponent's abilities.

JetFuel
SteelBeams

>Mold Breaker on a non-Ground move
I mean, at least it's contact, but still. Seems less than useful.
>>26573826
It ignores Multiscale, but other than that...
Maybe there will be new abilities that would otherwise absorb Steel or Ghost-type attacks in Sun and Moon?
>>26573826
it gives Solgaleo a great fighting chance against Lunala (who has the type advantage) by ignoring Shadow Shield/Multiscale.
But the Full Metal Body ability just being Clear Body was a bit of a letdown, he's basically just a Metagross clone with a signature move cooler than Meteor Mash and more stats.
Why is it hard to think they wouldn't do dual type moves?
Flying Press is the same shit, except Flying and Fighting don't do shit together

Depending on his Attack stat, he may also be capable of taking on Lugia, despite being a physical attacker. Can't be poisoned.

Because they already described the moves.
